With any new season --- whether that be summer, fall, or the new year, comes new resolutions and new goals.
But how do you make them stick?
What do you do to keep the resolution alive?
Here are two things that are vital when trying to achieve a New Year’s resolution.
No. 1) Write It Down
You think you’ll remember it. You think that you’ll think about it every single day. But sometimes the hardest part of achieving it is to remember what it is every single day. Write it down. Post it somewhere you can see it. The more specific, the better.
No. 2) Evaluate
Coming up with your resolution is one thing. Evaluating your performance is a whole different ballgame.
Anyone can set a resolution, but if you want to achieve it, you’ll make sure to evaluate it on a daily basis. Ask yourself, ‘How did I do today on a scale of 1 to 10 and why?’ This step is vital because it helps hold you accountable.
Don’t just wish for your resolution to happen. Do things to make it happen!
