If your job is physically demanding, you know how much it can take out of you. More often than not, you probably feel like you've just run a full marathon after a long days work. Now picture yourself 27 pounds lighter, and imagine how much different you'd feel at the end of a busy day. It would make so many tasks at work easier, and it would allow you to take full advantage of your free time instead of being too exhausted to leave the house. This is the difference that Steve Hryniewicz made by losing 27 pounds. Being very active both at work and during his leisure time, Steve now realizes how much losing some extra bodyweight can change a person's day-to-day life. Read on to learn the details of his story.

Steve Hryniewicz often has to push his body through long days at work. Along with doing some camerawork for MTV and the reality TV show Fear Factor, Steve has a challenging career as a stuntman. These two areas of work obviously demand a lot of physical exertion, so it helps to be in good shape. And though some people would be satisfied to be around the 175-pound mark (which is where Steve was before he started his transformation), Steve wanted to get leaner to help himself meet the challenges of his lifestyle. Steve set out to get rid of some of the weight that was slowing him down.

Twenty weeks later and 27 pounds lighter, Steve says he notices his weight loss most when he is at work. “When I am executing my stunts, I have more control over my movements because I am leaner, stronger, and more mobile,” he says. “It has been beneficial, most definitely.”

Steve not only pushes his body on a daily basis at work, but also thrives on being active when he has time off. Steve has been practicing Muay Thai kickboxing since he was 12, and as you would guess, after losing 27 pounds, he notices a big difference when he is training. “Since losing weight, I have noticed a major improvement in my flexibility,” he says. “I can kick higher, and my range of motion has increased significantly.”

Two crucial factors helped Steve stay on track with his plan. The first was persuading his wife to become actively involved in his weight loss. “My wife was a tremendous source of support during my transformation,” he says. “We actually sort of did it together. We ate the same foods and exercised together. She actually lost 15 pounds right alongside me. We would wake up before work and do our morning cardio on the beach path. On Sundays, we would shop for our week's groceries together and prepare meals for the week.”

The second major factor was that Steve followed a split routine where he would do cardio in the morning (as noted above), then end the day by going to the gym to do some weights. He still continues to do this. “Usually, I will just go straight to the gym after work, even if it has been a twelve-hour day,” he says. “I know that if I go home, I will just become part of the furniture. I love just dropping on the couch after a long workday. So I force myself to go to the gym. I've found that having a serving of Hydroxycut® before my workout really helps me push through it on the days when I'm most tired.”
