Karen Brandon
Hydroxycut® Success StoryKaren wasn't always in great shape. Not that long ago, while she was in school working toward her goal of becoming a physical therapist, she had little time for anything other than eating, sleeping, and hitting the books.
Karen says, “Graduate school required me to be entirely focused toward that goal, and it left me very little time to take care of myself. Even on days that I felt good and I wanted to try and exercise, I had to skip it because of the amount of work I had.”
Not only was Karen limited in the amount of exercise she was getting, but her hectic schedule also forced her to eat whatever kinds of foods were easiest to fit into her study breaks. “Looking back, my eating habits were really bad. I was eating foods like ice cream and French fries all the time. Because I was so focused and determined in my graduate studies, I found I would want to reward myself with foods that I thought I deserved.”
Like so many other people who are busy, and inactive, Karen's weight slowly crept up on her as she continued to focus on the other aspects of life (in Karen's case, being successful at school). Then when she got to a certain point, she started to actually notice the physical changes in her body. That's when she decided she was going to make every effort possible to squeeze in some time for a consistent diet and exercise plan to help herself lose weight. “I was a little bit worried about losing the weight I had gained. I'd never been that big in my life, and it was very intimidating at first to see what was in front of me. It was extremely tough mentally to get back into the gym and try to achieve
my goals.”
Starting and sticking to her diet and exercise plan wasn't easy, but with some shuffling of her schedule and a deep commitment to taking off the weight, she was focused on having the body she knew she should have deserved.
